29 September 2016 - Guildford-based FinTech company, Gold-i raised £550 for Challengers by fundraising at its Summer Fete held at Burchatt’s Farm Barn.
The event was organised by Gold-i’s Fun Committee and was attended by Gold-i employees, their families and friends. In addition to a range of activities including inflatable duelling, a bouncy castle and badminton, there was also a hog roast, bar, ice cream van and raffle.
Tom Higgins, CEO, Gold-i commented, “The Gold-i Fun Committee organises a range of social events for employees throughout the year and decided to hold a Summer Fete this year for the first time and combine it with a fundraising event. We were delighted to be able to support Challengers through money raised from the bar, raffle tickets and donations. This was a great opportunity to have some fun and also raise money for an excellent local charity.”
Laura Sercombe, Challengers CEO added, “We are so happy and grateful to Gold-i for raising such a fantastic amount for us. The Summer Fete had such a wonderful atmosphere and the money raised will be going towards activities for our schemes running over the October half term.”
